A social enterprise that uses technology to promote agricultural trade through e-market in Nigeria, Isidore Agritech Limited has launched its new Jinja App, which aims to transform agricultural trade in Nigeria by connecting buyers and sellers of agro commodities.

The digital platform provides a one-stop shop for agriculture products and is designed to be a super easy platform to buy and sell commodities, request for trucks, and many more services.

Pamela Adie, the Vice-President of Business Development at Isidore Agritech Limited, while unveiling the Jinja App in Lagos, described it as an all-in-one marketplace for agricultural products.

She explained that users of the Jinja Agent App can sell their agricultural products to buyers across Nigeria with just a few clicks and earn a share of the company’s profits.

Adie highlighted that the platform covers every aspect of the agricultural business, including financing, warehousing, insurance, and even trucks.

She assured that for every transaction, both the agent and the farmer share from the profit. “I don’t think you can find anything like this anywhere in the market today.”

According to her “app offers insurance, which is particularly important in light of the natural disasters that affected some farmers last year”

Isidore Agritech Limited is training and sensitizing farmers and other stakeholders in the agriculture sector on how to exploit the new technology.

FARMERS VOICE NG gathered that, the launch of the Jinja App is expected to change the way agriculture is done in Nigeria by bringing an innovative solution to the country’s agricultural trading.
